These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY / YOUR NAME] ("we", "us") governing your use of the Sirat mobile application ("Sirat" or the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Sirat. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.

2Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

3License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

4Acceptable use

You agree not to:

post or transmit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, abusive, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users;
spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure;
attempt to access data that is not yours.

5User-generated content & community standards

The App lets you create content and interact with others (display names, avatars, circles, invitations, and leaderboards).

Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. By using the community features you agree to this standard.

Reporting & blocking. You can report objectionable content or users and block any user directly in the App. Blocking hides that user from you and prevents them from interacting with you.

Our response. We review reports and will act on objectionable content or abusive behavior — including removing content and ejecting the user — within 24 hours of a report. We may remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Your content. You retain ownership of content you create, and you grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the App. You are responsible for the content you submit.

6Religious content disclaimer

Sirat provides prayer times, Qur'an, hadith, and dhikr content for convenience. Prayer times are calculated estimates based on your location and selected calculation method and may differ from your local mosque or authority; please verify locally. We are not a religious authority and do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any religious content.

7Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services and APIs (including Supabase, Apple, Aladhan, OpenWeather, and Quran.com). Their availability and accuracy are not guaranteed, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

8Intellectual property

The App and its original content, features, and design are owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them except as allowed by these Terms.

9Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

12Apple App Store — Licensed Application terms

These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent applicable:

The license granted is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, per the App Store Terms.
We — not Apple — are solely responsible for the App and for any maintenance and support.
We — not Apple — are responsible for addressing any claims that the App or your use of it infringes intellectual property rights, fails to conform to legal requirements, or any product-liability or warranty claims to the extent not effectively disclaimed.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting," and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

14Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
